I grew up in the church but in my teen years I fell into a sinful life and drifted away. For fifteen years, I lived chasing the world’s version of success. When my father found Christ it changed everything. And through his transformation, God began calling me back too.
On my first day walking back into church, the pastor was preaching about how to share the Word of God. After the service, I went up to him — full of pride — and said, “Everything you preached today is exactly how I train my sales team to approach people.”
He shook my hand, smiled, and said words that hit me straight in the chest:
“If God’s given you that gift… why are you not using it to build His Kingdom?”
That line changed everything.
In that moment, God reminded me that every talent, every skill, every ounce of passion — it was never mine to keep. It was meant to serve Him. To reach people. To build something eternal.
That’s when Disciple Army was born.
It started with a simple idea — to create clothing that would spark conversation about Jesus. Then, through connecting with Kyle, that vision expanded. We didn’t just want a brand; we wanted a community. A movement of believers who would stand together in strength and purpose.
That’s when the Four Pillars of Disciple Army were formed — our foundation to build the Kingdom and inspire others to live fearless in their faith.

I grew up always having a real passion for God, even wanting to be a pastor at 10 years old. As I got older and drifted away from this passion, I found myself the furthest from God I had ever been in the last 15 years.
Heavily addicted to drugs and alcohol over the last 8 years, going through a divorce and having thoughts of ending my life, I found myself at the end of my rope, which is where God would meet me.
He would then begin to restore my life and provide me with a new heart and mind. He would continually help me with my sobriety; guiding me to a 12 step program with Celebrate Recovery, graduating from it, to now leading one.
My relationship with God would become my main focus; chasing after Him above all else.
He would surround me with a Godly community and put me in places I never thought I would get to.
Those places God was guiding me to, led me to Joe and this company.
Sitting in a coffee shop, doing a devotional, both trying to find a closer relationship with God, He revealed to us that we both had the same idea for a company, podcast, clothing brand and a desire to lead people to Gods Kingdom.
Disciple Army would then become our main focus and God would continue to guide the company on where He wanted it to go.
This journey is just beginning and we are excited to see what God will continue to do.
